By downloading or using Ril ("the App"), these terms will automatically apply to you – you should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the app. You are not allowed to copy or modify the app, any part of the app, or our trademarks in any way.

1. Description of Service

Ril is a "read-it-later" mobile application designed to help users save links and articles to read at a later time. The app operates primarily offline, storing your saved content directly on your device.

2. In-App Purchases

Ril offers a one-time in-app purchase ("Premium Unlock") to access additional features.

• Payment: All transactions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• No Subscription: This is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. There are no recurring fees.
• Refunds: We do not have the technical ability to process refunds directly. Any request for a refund must be made through the respective App Store (Apple or Google) and is subject to their specific refund policies.

3. Data Responsibility and Backups

Because Ril is an offline-first application, we do not store your saved links, articles, or tags on our servers.

• User Responsibility: All your data remains exclusively on your device. We are not responsible for any data loss caused by app uninstallation, device damage, or system failures.
• Manual Backups: The App may provide features to manually export your data. It is your sole responsibility to perform regular backups and store them securely.

4. Intellectual Property

The App itself, and all the trademarks, copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to it, belong to Dario Tordoni. You may not attempt to extract the source code of the app, or translate the app into other languages or make derivative versions.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to modify or terminate the App or your access to the App for any reason, without notice, at any time. Any one-time purchase made will remain valid for the lifetime of the application version you purchased, subject to compatibility with future operating system updates.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or that access to it will be continuous or uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Dario Tordoni be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, loss of data or links) arising out of the use or inability to use the App.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update our Terms of Service from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
