Welcome to Ril ("we," "our," or "us"). We have designed the Ril mobile application with your privacy as a top priority. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you download and use the Ril app. Unlike our website, the app operates primarily offline, keeping your sensitive personal data right on your device.

2. User-Created Data (Tasks, Tags, Habits)
Ril is designed to work completely offline. All the content you create within the app is safely stored on your device:
- Local Storage: Tasks, tags, timings, energy levels, and your completion history are saved exclusively in a local database (SQLite) located directly on your device.
- No External Access: We do not have access to your tasks, tags, or notes. They are never transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers.
- Backups: The app provides a manual database export/import feature. When you create a backup, the file is managed locally through your device's operating system. You are solely responsible for securely storing, transferring, and sharing that backup file.
3. Analytics and Usage Data
To help us understand how users interact with the app and to improve its features, Ril uses third-party services called Mixpanel and Google Analytics . Through these services, we collect anonymous or pseudonymized usage data, such as:
- Interface interactions (e.g., number of tasks added, usage of the Combo Generator, filters applied, tasks accepted or skipped).
- Session durations and crash reports to identify bugs.
- Device-generated User IDs to distinguish unique users without identifying who you actually are.
This data is strictly used for statistical purposes and user experience optimization. No task text or sensitive personal information is ever sent to Mixpanel. You can consult Mixpanel's and Google Analytics' Privacy Policy on their official websites.
You can disable the collection of this analytics data at any time from the app's Settings.

The app may request permission to send you notifications (for example, to alert you when a Combo timer expires). These notifications are scheduled and triggered entirely locally by your device's operating system (iOS or Android). No data is sent to external push notification servers to generate these alerts.
